Now more than ever, the American Association of University Women needs strength in numbers. With more than 100,000 members, 1,300 branches, and 550 college and university partners, AAUW uses its powerful voice on critical issues affecting women and girls.

There are a number of ways to become an AAUW member.

Branch Member

Individual Member
If time is an issue, become an AAUW member-at-large. Receive regular information on critical issues. When time permits, choose how you will take action. Join now!

Students
If you are an undergraduate working toward an associate's or bachelor's degree, get involved on your campus and in your community. Become an AAUW student affiliate. An AAUW student affiliate must be enrolled as an undergraduate in a two- or four-year regionally accredited educational institution. Contact our branch today or join online!

AAUW's network has made us one of the leading women's organizations in the country for more than a century. Our members are women of diverse cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and professions. The only requirement for membership is that you hold a bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
